What We Offer
1:1 Player Development Training
1:1 training is limited to high-potential hockey players and only a small number are accepted each year. Individual programming is for players that have a goal of playing junior, college, and professional hockey, or are already at those levels and looking to continue improving their game. We generally accept players at 16 years old, but make exceptions on a case by case basis for younger players.
Small Group Training
Small group training is also designed for high-potential hockey players and is limited in size to ensure a high level of individual attention. As with our individual training, these groups are built for players with goals of competing at the junior, college, or professional levels, or for those already at those levels who are committed to continued development. Groups are intentionally kept small to allow for position-specific instruction and individualized feedback within a competitive environment.
Video Review & Analytics
We do video review a bit differently. It’s our belief that training should imitate the game. We partner with our players to review game footage and use that to begin building specific, purposeful training. While long-term training plans are valuable, our strategy emphasizes flexibility based upon what’s happening with our players through each stage of their season and associated stages of development. Video review is typically done weekly or bi-weekly ahead of training.
We also believe in the power of statistics and analytics. We use game film to help a player improve individually, but also within the given structures they play in which enables them to help themselves as well as the teams they play on.
Education
As a development group, we believe deeply in the value of education. We are always working to produce on-demand learning resources based on years of collected data from players and teams across all levels of play. We offer guidance on systems, practice building, statistics and how they should be applied through drills and other forms of study.
